Age Limit: Candidates should be between 18 to 25 years as on the last date for receipt of application. Age relaxation is applicable 05 years for SC/ ST candidates, 03 years for OBC, 10 years for Physically disabled, 15 years for Physically disabled (SC/ ST), 13 years for Physically disabled (OBC) candidates & others as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Institute or Board with knowledge of English with Apprenticeship Training in the relevant trade and holding National Apprenticeship Certificate for post-1 to 15, Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Institute or Board with knowledge of English with Apprenticeship Training in the Trade at Dockyard Apprentice School of Indian Navy and holding National Apprenticeship Certificate for post-16 to 23, 10th standard pass from a recognized Board/ institute for post-24.

Selection Procedure:

Candidates will be selected based on written test, trade test, interview.

How to Apply: 

Interested candidates can send their applications on plain paper (A4 Size) in the prescribed format affixing latest passport size colour photograph on it along with self attested copies of relevant certificates, two additional Passport size photographs, a self addressed envelope of size 23 x 13 cm with postage stamp of Rs.10/- affixed on it by Ordinary Post to The Commodore Superintendent (for O/ic Recruitment Cell), Naval Ship Repair Yard, Hard, Port Blair-744102 within 30 days from the date of advt & 45 days for remote areas. The envelope should superscribed as “Application for the post of _______Category “_______”. (SC/ ST/ OBC/ UR).
